Relief Residential Counselors - Hospital Diversion South

Hospital Diversion Program of NFI Vermont, located in Brattleboro, is a short-term inpatient facility for adolescents experiencing acute psychiatric crisis. Our skilled trauma-informed team of mental health workers provide our residents with crisis stabilization, clinical consultation, and individual treatment planning in a small and safe setting. We are looking for dynamic relief residential counselors to join our team.

Responsibilities include providing supervision and support to adolescents during both awake hours and sleeping hours as well as performing administrative duties. Ideal candidates will have two years of experience working with adolescents or a bachelor’s degree, superior interpersonal skills, and function well in a team setting.

This is an excellent entry-level position with a flexible schedule offering day, awake overnight, and weekend shifts. Pay range $19.00-$23.00 an hour. Opportunities to advance within the agency.  We are a mission driven organization and strive to create an inclusive work environment that fosters acceptance and understanding. Our employees enjoy balance between therapeutic work with clients and team comradery.
