Residential Manager - Adult Services (Wareham, MA)

Latham Centers, Inc., one of the largest human service employers on Cape Cod and is a leader in residential treatment for children and adults with special needs and employs more than 250 people on its Brewster Campus, and at various other locations from Orleans to Plymouth, MA.

As a Residential Manager in the Adult Services program, you will provide on-site support and monitoring of all policies and procedures related to direct care services to individuals in the residences. You will provide supervision of the staff and the residences to ensure a positive, healthy and safe living and working environment for the individuals. Reporting to the Director of Adult Services, you will have active communication and cooperation with residential team members, administrative and business office staff, shared services staff, families, neighbors and the professional community.
The ideal candidate for this position has a Bachelor’s Degree in human services or related field and one year supervisory experience; or five years experience in residential treatment, with a minimum of one-year supervisory experience. You must exhibit ambulatory ability sufficient to physically intervene in instances of extreme behavior. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.

Fluent English speaking and writing skills, empathy and the ability to listen, good time management skills and professional appearance and demeanor are all required for this position.

40 hours: Monday - Friday 9a-5p (Great Neck, Wareham)
