Sales & Marketing Manager

Role and Responsibilities

·       Build and maintain a metadata lead list for our core 4 markets
·       Convert all applicable leads
·       Report on lead penetration to exec management in clear and concise metrics
·       Manage existing resource pool and expand resource pool as needed

Qualifications and Education Requirements

·       Bachelor’s degree
·       Minimum 5 years of experience leading a sales team
·       Excellent interpersonal communications skills
·       Business acumen (budgeting and forecasting)
·       Servant leadership practitioner

Preferred Skills

·       Marketing promotion, pricing, placement and product development program experience
·       Publishing industry k-12/higher-ed learning curriculum experience
·       Competency in data science

Additional Notes

We are not looking for a sale team administrator that is infatuated with business metrics that do not move the needle. We need a leader who can coach and mentor a team to deliver quantifiable results … specifically, a laser focus on closing new business.
