Before Applying

1) Review supported countries section to ensure you qualify. We cannot approve applications of candidates from unsupported countries.

3) This role requires candidates to interview and audition to demonstrate ability to play the instrument or a deep understanding of the musical subject. Successful interviews and auditions grant candidates an auditioned/interviewed badge.

Video Demo Submission

After applying online, and before your application is approved, we will need a demo video from you.
What has changed?
We are requesting the video demonstration to be submitted to us via email instead of live during the interview.
Why this change?
We are responding to our teacher applicants' request. This allows for better quality video, and gives you the opportunity to plan a script, shoot the video and edit it as professionally as you like.
What should the video contain?
The video should be your teacher profile video for students to learn about your skills, experience, education, teaching style, or any other information that would be useful for students to learn.
How long should the video be?
Anywhere from 30 seconds to 5 minutes.
See an example teacher profile video here.
Video file too large to send via email?
If the video you prepared is too large, and your email client does not allow you to send very large attachments, you may first upload your video to Google drive, then email us the link to the file with the correct sharing permissions to ensure we can view and download the video file.
Can I apply without submitting a video file?
Not at this time.
The ability to make videos to communicate your offerings with prospective students is a big part of teaching online. Without this ability or the willingness to learn, it will be quite challenging to get online students.
Students are looking to form a human connection with their teacher. Each student has unique needs and preferences and teacher profile videos immensely help students identify the right music teacher.
Should I submit additional videos of my playing?
Only one video file for the teacher profile is required.
Additional performance videos are welcome and help our talent team to assign the correct instruments/subjects and levels on your teacher account.
Send additional performance videos as YouTube links instead of email file attachments.
