Wellesley Racial Justice Intern for Admin/Fundraising Team

Wellesley Racial Justice Initiative (WRJI) internships are virtual opportunities for students committed to anti-racist education and cross-racial dialogue in the Wellesley community. WRJI is comprised of alums of many ethnicities and generations, with a cohort of student interns.

Interns have opportunities to develop skills, join planning meetings, complete independent and group projects and give feedback to improve the workings of WRJI. Interns will have the opportunity to forge ongoing connections between campus and WRJI. Interns will receive letters of recommendation based on work completed.

Admin and Fundraising team seeks an intern for a project that will offer experience for someone looking to do administrative work in the non-profit field. Two goals: 1. to help file fundraising applications in each of the 50 states, write a set of instructions for this position, and keep annual filings current. (This position will be mostly in September and again in the spring. 5-10 hrs per week.)  2. To assist in the transition from our current Executive Coordinator to a new hire, and transitioning some key volunteer positions, including supporting the search for candidates (4-7 hours per week). The intern will work on aligning our organizational roles and continuing with the personnel handbook. 
The intern will work directly under the WRJI Executive Coordinator, currently an alum of color. They will have the opportunity to attend general meetings of the organization and encouraged to give input. They will coordinate with other interns and team members of WRJI.
