The New York State Police is a full service police agency. They are the primary law enforcement officers in many regions across the state handling everything from traditional patrol duties to highly specialized investigations. They respond and investigate all types of cases including, but not limited, to domestic incidents, missing children, assaults, burglaries, robberies and homicides. Trooper must be prepared to deal with a never-ending variety of situations.

SALARY
During academy training the starting salary is $59,612 with it increasing to $84,331 after one year.
