Analyst

Quantitative Economic Solutions (QES), LLC is an economic consulting firm located in downtown Boston. We provide our clients with support in a wide variety of matters, but our services primarily consist of analysis and research for antitrust, intellectual property, and contract litigation. We work across all industries.

QES seeks graduating seniors to join us as Analysts. This position involves researching firms, industries, and technologies; conducting analyses on qualitative and quantitative data; and presenting complex economic findings for clients or to inform expert legal testimony.

QES is a smaller firm, with a largely flat structure and collegial atmosphere. Analysts can expect to work closely in teams with other Analysts and Managers and to have access to many parts of the research process.

The ideal candidate is motivated, has attention to detail, and is a critical thinker with strong communication, writing, and presentation skills. There is no academic major requirement, but the ideal candidate is familiar with introductory economics, math, and statistics.

Previous Analysts have gone on to law school, business programs, and Ph.D. programs. Others have pursued careers in business, technology, consulting, finance, research, or nonprofit work.

Compensation consists of base salary, bonus, and benefits. Expected total paid compensation starts around $110,000, with potential upside depending on experience and performance.
