Analyst/Consultant

Corporate Insight (CI) is a research and consulting firm known for providing actionable competitive intelligence on the digital customer experience. CI publishes in-depth research on banking, investing, insurance, retirement, healthcare and emerging areas like fintech. For over 25 years, we have helped firms improve the way they serve millions of customers by offering objective feedback and advice on their customer experience.
 
CI is looking for a talented Analyst to join our Consulting/Projects team. Analysts lead competitive intelligence- and user experience-focused research projects for our clients in the financial services and healthcare industries, while serving as contributors/researchers on other, larger projects. Successful Analysts are highly motivated and have strong written and oral communication skills. They have an interest in or experience with user experience (UX) research and are passionate about helping client firms improve the experience they provide to their customers/users. Analysts are expected to lead research, present their findings and manage projects from start to finish. Recent engagement examples include:
 
  • Benchmarking of the home loan servicing digital experience
  • Brand strategy assessment of several key credit card issuers and fintech firms
  • Online security practices competitor review
  • Financial advisor-client collaboration technology review
  • Monthly competitive landscape review for top financial institutions

CI is currently operating on a hybrid model at our NY office where team members will be expected to work at our Midtown Manhattan office part of the time. Unfortunately, we are not able to sponsor visas for this position.

Responsibilities
 
Analysts are expected to:
 
  • Manage consulting engagements, typically with the support of 2-3 colleagues (Associates and/or Analysts)
  • Develop high-quality, actionable and persuasive project deliverables using PowerPoint, Excel and our proprietary benchmarking software platform
  • Present research findings and recommendations to clients
  • Manage client expectations, project timelines and team deliverables over the full project life cycle
  • Contribute research and analysis to larger consulting engagements led by Senior Analysts or Project Managers
  • Effectively handle multiple research projects simultaneously and maintain excellent work quality under tight deadlines
  • Support business development team in project scoping conversations, serving as a subject matter expert
  • Contribute to marketing efforts by writing blog posts and thought leadership pieces

  • The ability to collaborate well with engagement team members, business development and other research teams
  • Quantitative research experience is a plus
 
Specific academic/professional requirements include:
 
  • A BA/BS degree with a strong academic record
  • Approximately 2-5 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in a similar research/consulting capacity or working for a financial services firm
