Research Assistant

Akttyva Therapeutics is an early-stage biopharmaceutical company with unique technology aimed at developing therapeutics for unmet medical needs. Akttyva has recently been awarded an NSF grant and we are looking for a highly motivated Research Assistant in our laboratories in Mansfield, MA working under the supervision of our Head of Research developing, validating and implementing medium- to high-throughput assays aimed at measuring activity of target proteins in cell-based and cell-free environments. Experience working in a laboratory is required. Familiarity with basic biology, cell culture and biochemistry (kinetic) assays is essential. University coursework that includes labs and graduate work, internships and part-time work are considered relevant experience. Work ethics, creativity and desire to learn are key to your success in this role. The temporary job may become permanent or converted to part-time when school resumes depending on the future funding and mutual fit.
