Research Technician

A Research Technician position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Johannes Yeh at CSHL Cancer Center (http://yehlab.labsites.cshl.edu). Qualified candidates interested in cancer biology, cell signaling, antibody technologies, drug discovery and medicinal chemistry are encouraged to apply. The Research Technician will perform a variety of research/laboratory tasks, including cell culture, immunoassays, protein purification and chemical modifications, PCR and molecular cloning etc. Mentored research training will be provided. The candidate needs to demonstrate good working ethic and personal skills working independently as well as within a team. Education: BS/BA in Biology/Chemistry or related discipline is required (minimum).
Skills/Experience: Undergraduate research experience is preferred but not essential.
