General Management Consultant

ERPi is currently seeking a full-time General Management Consultant.

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), VHA, requires professional support services to assist the Deputy Under Secretary of Health (DUSH)—who is accountable for specific health care programs enabling and supporting virtually every aspect of patient care provided to Veterans-- with the development, administration, and management of various emerging initiatives, some of which are legislatively mandated. ERPi serves as the Veterans Health Administration’s (VHA) strategic partner to transform the country’s largest and most complex organizations – with 1,600 care sites across 50 states and a staff of approximately 300,000 employees caring for over 6 million Veterans – into a clinically led, outcome-focused, and technology-enabled organization.

The Office of Healthcare Transformation (OHT), organizationally aligned under the DUSH, is spearheading this implementation of program management capabilities. OHI’s Modernization initiative drives improvement across VHA’s mission activities with a focus on streamlining the organization, simplifying decision-making, reengineering business processes, and enhancing role authority and accountability while reducing variability across the health system. OHT initiatives touch all areas of VHA operations: finance, human resources, labor management relations, training, communications, commercial and government health operations, human centered design, organizational design, performance management, and data analysis. Our approach includes change management and transition throughout VA/VHA Central Office, VISNs, and Medical Centers, as well as to external stakeholders.

ERPi requires Management Consultants to support VHA in the development of an improved organization and in the implementations of critical initiatives. This includes measuring success, outcomes, and the improvement of programs. To assist OHT in managing multiple, concurrent transformation initiatives, the Management Consultant will plan and organize work, prioritize projects, and deliver and monitor business results. Regular client interaction, including potentially daily scrum meetings, facilitate scheduling of activities and rebalancing resources. ERPi Management Consultants will exhibit a well-recognized ability to rapidly engage and leverage knowledge of VHA program operations and the Administration’s previously established goals and objectives to support a range of high-profile initiatives.
