CSC is seeking a self-motivated, inquisitive, and adventurous college student (rising Junior or Senior) to join the Business Solutions team in our Wilmington, DE office. This team is focused on identifying, analyzing, and proposing solutions, process improvement, and analytics to the business. If you are heading toward a career in data analytics, finance, or business, our intern program may be just what you need to see a broad and inside view of a vibrant business-to-business company. Some of the things you’ll learn from us:
- Learn about research and implementation of Use Cases
- Learn the development of processes and templates for non-analytics consumers
- Performing Data Classification and Profiling of data used to support a global business.
- Developing solutions and recommendations for how DBS can harness the power of our data.
- Manage daily workload: Ensuring priorities are in line with DBS’s expectations so that the correct focus is on the most important tasks.
- Remain flexible and agile, adapting to team’s needs: As business needs change, the type of work does vary and is not limited to one type of task. Develop a skillset and desire to be able to assist others as time allows or priorities change.
What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?
- Rising Junior or Senior (undergraduate)
- Analytics focused education path
- Experience using R, Python, or a form of data analysis
- Great attention to detail
- The ability to multi-task
- The ability to work independently and function as part of a team
- Strong computer skills including Excel
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and via email
- The ability to analyze and pull insights from large data sets
