The BDO Valuation Advisors Associate is responsible for utilizing previously obtained educational background, along with established organizational and project management skills to successfully service clients of BDO Valuation Advisors. In this role, the BDO Valuation Advisors Associate will work within a team environment to actively assist in the analysis and resolution of client matters while taking direction and receiving guidance from experienced staff and management members. The Associate will be involved in all stages of client management including identification of potential valuation issues, construction of valuation modeling and completion of industry and client research, along with conduction of on-site inspections.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Engineering, Accounting, or a technical degree from an accredited college/university
Experience:
- Prior experience (internship or work study) in valuation, finance or engineering, preferred
- Manufacturing/ machinery and equipment knowledge a plus
Software:
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, required
Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Effective verbal/ written communication skills and solid analytical skills
- Proficient computer skills (primarily Excel and Word)
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to analyze and organize high volumes of data
- Accountability and successful multi-tasking ability
- Ability to successfully multi-task while working independently or within a group environment
- Proven ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to successfully interact with professionals at all levels
