Spring 2022 Executive Intern

Executive Interns will support Accountability Counsel’s strategic communications goals, fundraising and development initiatives, and organizational operations. This position offers interns the opportunity to learn how a small legal nonprofit is run.

Responsibilities may include developing social media content, drafting communications and fundraising materials, researching media targets, monitoring news and current events within the field, and supporting general operations.

We seek interns who demonstrate an interest for the organization’s mission and values, as well as a desire to work with a human rights advocacy-oriented nonprofit. Executive Intern applicants should demonstrate an interest and understanding of our work, strong written and oral communication skills, and a keen attention to detail. All applicants are expected to have completed at least two years of their undergraduate education before applying.

Positions are unpaid, but we will be happy to work with your institution to arrange academic credit. We accept applications from undergraduate students and recent graduates (within one year of graduation). Women, people of color, persons with disabilities, and international students are strongly encouraged to apply.

After posting, we accept applications year-round and on a rolling basis. Below is our typical application cycle calendar for undergraduate internships. If you are working on an alternative academic calendar, please don’t hesitate to contact us to discuss an alternative timeline.
