WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Apply your knowledge of statistics, business analytics and/or data science to support specific business initiatives involving analytics projects analyzing various aspects of a global mobility organization
- Interact directly with business stakeholders, while working with large, complex datasets to properly categorize business information and perform data profiling
- Work with data science tools and teams on real world operational issues, such as building predictive models to help identify and reduce debt, damage and risk associated with vehicle rental
WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE THAT HAS:
- Active enrollment at a college/university
- A detail-oriented mindset and way of working
- Solid business communication skills
- The ability to work in a fast paced corporate environment
- Good working knowledge of business analytics, probability, statistics and/or data science
- The ability to reliably commute to our Parsippany, NJ corporate headquarters at least 3 days a week
- The ability to work 35 hours a week
SKILLS YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE TABLE:
- Completed coursework in business analytics, data engineering, probability and statistics, data science or related fields
- Strong working skillset and experience with Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint
- Interest in exploring the various aspects of data analytics or data science
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
- Strong interpersonal, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast paced environment and act with a sense of urgency
- Contribute positively to the organization, both individually and as part of a team
- Ability to work well remotely and with use of tools like Zoom
- Bonus points for experience/skills with: Microsoft Teams, Microsoft SharePoint, Slack, Jira, Tableau, Miro
