Research Coordinator

The newly-created Office of Research in Harvard Medical School Department of Psychiatry at Cambridge Hospital will provide a research infrastructure for expanding research initiatives related to building a Learning Behavioral Health System. The office will support practice-based research led by clinician-researchers and lead the expansion of our portfolio of federal funding.

The Office of Research in Psychiatry (OOR) supports research initiatives conducted by clinical faculty in the Department of Psychiatry. The OOR assists clinician-researchers in conducting preliminary studies for grant proposals, and the preparation and submission of grant proposals and scholarly manuscripts. Working under the general direction of the Research Director, the Research Coordinator will provide overall coordination of research projects by junior faculty to support collection of preliminary data for grant proposals, including assisting with preparation of IRB applications, human subject recruitment, informed consent procedures, and collection and management of clinical research data. May write and edit reports and assist in preparation of manuscripts, develop and monitor reports and work with funding agencies.

Qualifications:
- Master s degree required in relevant field of study; or Bachelor s degree in relevant field of study, with a minimum of 2 years of related work experience
- Organizing and completing time sensitive tasks
- Willingness and ability to work in a busy environment with shifting and competing priorities
- Ability to work well with a team
