Benefits Administrator

The Benefits Administrator will be part of the Total Rewards team and will play a key role in the administration of Watts’s benefits and compensation programs. This role will also provide support to the HR team, managers and employees in both the HRIS (Workday) and Benefit Administration (UltiPro Benefit Prime) systems. The ideal candidate will be a detail oriented, analytical individual with advanced Excel skills and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Provide support on the UltiPro Benefit Prime system
  • Create ad-hoc and scheduled reports as needed
  • Test new business processes, system modifications and updates
  • Provide support for audit requests as required for compliance with internal policies as needed
  • Maintain the integrity of data by performing monthly benefit audits and reports
  • Assist with the monthly benefit reports to finance
  • Assist with the benefits annual enrollment period and related activities; assist with testing all changes to the system
  • Work with external vendor to prepare new hire benefit packages for the new year
  • Respond to employee benefit inquiries
  • FMLA and disability administration
  • Support core compensation functions such as report requests, transaction monitoring, data analysis, and system testing during annual compensation review process
  • Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as needed

Workday:
  • Test new business processes, system modifications and updates
  • Provide support for audit requests for compliance with internal policies as needed
  • Add/remove security for any approved requests
  • Troubleshoot system issues as needed
  • Participate in the development of data governance guidelines, process documentation, HR team training, and process improvement
  • Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as needed

Education:
  • A Bachelor’s Degree is desired

Management:
  • No direct reports

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 - 3 years prior experience and in depth knowledge working with Enterprise wide HRIS systems is required
  • Experience with Workday and Ultimate Software is preferred
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of benefit administration experience
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, communication, and presentation skills
  • Microsoft Office proficiency, including advanced Excel skills
  • Knowledge of HR laws, practice, and processes
  • Excellent problem solving/analytical skills with attention to detail
  • A self-starter who can work independently or as part of a team
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Global support experience preferred
