New Grad - Sales Development Representative for Cloud Health - Academy Program

What are the performance goals and job responsibilities that you will work toward completing? 

  • Promote, develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of CloudHealth products and services, public cloud industry trends, and competition 
  • Work cross functionally across the CloudHealth business unit to internally network, form relationships and build your brand 
  • Manage and document the lead cycle in VMware’s CRM system 
  • Prospect, qualify and develop new prospects and organize initial meetings 
  • Build and develop initial customer relationships 
  • Meet and exceed assigned lead metric goals 
  • Successfully manage and overcome prospect objections 
  • Follow up and qualify new prospects from demand generation activities 
  • Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest and obtain business requirements 
  • Work closely with inside sales teams to determine a strategic approach 
  • Disseminate opportunities to VMware Core team, educating rep as necessary about the opportunity 
  • Representing our company well to potential clients 
  • Team player, self-motivated and able to take ownership of the assigned task(s) 
  • Develop positive relationships with key decision-makers, influencers and partners within identified territory both internally and externally 
  • Establish relationships with C-level clients, business and technical buyers, and key project stakeholders 

The Work: What type of work will you be doing?

This role will specialize in identifying qualified leads from demand generation activity and developing these to generate new pipelines for the Salesforce. You will work on specific programs & campaigns designed to create and develop pipeline. This position requires excellent communication skills that result in meeting or exceeding the assigned qualified lead targets and metrics. You will need to interact with field sales, internal sales, marketing, partners, prospects and customers to maximize the total customer experience. 

Where is this role located?  

Remote: this role is fully remote and can be done anywhere in the United States.

What are the minimum requirements?  

  • Completing Bachelor’s degree in Winter 2021 or Spring 2022  
  • Available to start in July 2022  
  • Written and Verbal fluency in English and Spanish is a preferred skill
