Data Analyst/Data Engineer




Inviting applications for the role of Data Engineer/Data Analyst

Location: Dublin, Ohio

Roles and Responsibilities:
·        Work on real time customer facing situations and provide consulting to create viable and winning solutions
·        Defined glidepath for career progression and opportunity to explore new areas within Genpact from finance to insurance to banking to retail to automotive to healthcare
·        Leading strategic initiatives within Genpact like knowledge content creation and help building service lines etc
·        Engage in client facing roles and build business relationships to get more business for Genpact
·        Build automated reporting and dashboards leveraging advanced analytics and automation
·        Build the solutions using Data Engineering, Data Processing, Data Visualization, Statistical Analysis and Advanced Analytics tools, technologies and techniques
·        Data mapping, modeling, extraction, cleansing and processing from multiple data sources to meet information needs of the client’s business
·        Create future state data governance structures and create new ways of working
·        Data cleansing and establish data business rules for the enterprise, product, vendors and customers
·        Career grooming by industry experts and constant connect with executive leadership for mentorship & guidance
·        Partner with lead solutions architects in developing solution designs and proofs of concept
·        Support knowledge initiatives within the organization, which include the creation of case studies, training, writing white papers, etc

Minimum qualifications: Masters or Graduate in the either of the following disciplines:
·        Computer Science
·        Data Analytics
·        Information Systems
·        Business or Data Analytics
·        Mathematics/ Statistics
·        Data Science
·        Any STEM degree

Job Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of RDMS/ SQL concepts and experience in working with relational databases
  • Strong development skills (Java or Python or R) with the willingness to work in proprietary languages
  • Good understanding of CLOUD (Azure, AWS, GCP)
  • Experience with Agile and DevOps concepts (nice to have)
  • Experience with Hadoop/ HDFS, Pyspark, snowflake (nice to have)
  • Good understanding of data visualization (Tableau, PowerBI), data integration, data modelling and, data warehousing concepts
  • Reporting tools such as SSRS, Business Objects, Cognos
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Proven track record of working with a cross functional team and acting as a liaison between business users and technical teams
  • Must be able to drive appropriate documentation including requirements and technical documentation
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Self-starter that can manage conflicting priorities, excels at time management, and can identify areas of continued improvement
  • Ability to provide oversight of indirect reports, onsite and remote team members, while working within a complex matrix organization

Location: Dublin, OH and ready to relocate depending on the project duration
