Investment Banking Intern

EC M&A seeks an Analyst Intern for its New York office.

The internship is a three (3) month program to start on or around Jan 3 and is a full-time internship.

Candidates must have graduated from university. We will not consider part-time applicants, or students taking online courses remotely.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Support senior and junior bankers in driving buy-side and sell-side project execution
  • Develop financial models, presentations and pitchbook materials
  • Conduct company and industry research; identify potential buyers or acquisition targets
Qualifications
  • BA or equivalent with emphasis in finance/accounting
  • Previous experience in Investment Banking is required.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Expertise with PowerPoint, Excel and Word
  • Ability to work independently and efficiency in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly detail oriented, and strong work ethic
  • Experience with databases such as Orbis, Mergermarket, Pitchbook and Hoovers
