Summer Investment Banking Internship

CapM is offering the opportunity for motivated, self-starting students to pursue a 10-week summer internship position. Interns will work on a variety of mergers and acquisitions transactions and investment banking advisory assignments directly with deal teams and senior bankers.
 
Interns will have an opportunity to support active engagements, interact with clients, as well as participate in CapM’s business development efforts.
 
Responsibilities include:
·        Preparation of internal and client-focused presentations
·        Research and analysis of financial statements
·        In-depth financial modelling
·        Analysis of market and company specific conditions and trends
·        General client and transaction support
 
Interns will learn the business first-hand in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with abilty to interact directly with senior bankers. CapM strives to build talent internally and offers training and individual support to its Interns with the goals of long-term growth, career development and learning practical skills.
 
Strong emphasis is placed on developing individual talent using constant hands-on training focused on providing individuals with a solid foundation in finance and on enabling team members to learn the skills needed to advance in their professional careers.
 
CapM’s hope and goal is that Interns will be able to continue onto a longer-term relationship with the firm including the possibility of full-time employment post-graduation.

Qualifications / Skills:
 
Intern candidates should have a strong academic background, embrace critical thinking and have a real drive to learn and succeed. CapM believes that a successful member of its team should be proactive, have attention to detail, pursue excellence in everything they do, and demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills.
 
Team-oriented individuals with a good ethical compass and desire for challenging and engaging work are encouraged to apply. Successful candidates should demonstrate a capacity to work on multiple projects concurrently and strong analytical skills.
 
While we will be preparing Intern candidates for a role in investment banking by offering guidance and training, we are specifically looking for candidates who take responsibility for their work, enjoy working independently and can be self-sufficient when needed.
 
Languages: Excellent spoken and written English is required.
 
Desired Major: Students from all educational backgrounds are encouraged to apply, but awareness of fundamental concepts of accounting and finance are strongly recommended.
