Warner Bros Feature Production Accounting Clerk

JOB TITLE:                                       Feature Production Accounting Clerk
STATUS:                                           Non-Union/Non-Exempt/Regular Limited
DEPARTMENT NAME:                    WB Pictures: Prod – Physical Production Finance
LOCATION:                                      Decatur, GA
REPORTS TO (Title):                        Production Accountant (freelance hire on the film)
COMPENSATION:                            $15/hr
START DATE:                                   Clerk #1 – January 10
 
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
As directed, assists with the various facets of physical production finance as well as Warner Bros. production policies and procedures.
 
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Works with the accounting team to ensure proper recording and filing of financial data related to the motion picture 
  2. Match purchase orders to vendor invoices
  3. Data entry and analysis using Excel and third-party accounting software
  4. Audit petty cash and credit card receipts before reimbursement
  5. Respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoicing and payment
  6. Research and pull audit documentation
  7. Perform special projects and other related duties as assigned
  8. Must have the ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information
  9. Answer phones and general office support
 
JOB QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
 
Work Experience
Some experience in finance/accounting preferred.
 


Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Education in film, finance, and communications or related field is preferred.
 
Knowledge/Skills
PC and Microsoft Office skills required.
Knowledge of basic math, spelling, grammar, punctuation, and English usage.

Other Requirements
Must be able to communicate effectively and tactfully with all levels of personnel.
Must have the ability to work under time constraints.
Must be well organized and have strong attention to detail.
Must be able to handle multiple tasks, handle pressure, and deadlines.
Must be able to adapt to varied personalities associated with film production.
