Program Supervisor - Probation Short Term Services

The Probation Short Term Services Supervisor monitors model fidelity and program outcomes, coordinates referral assignment, and ensures the quality of clinical charting. The Probation Short Term Services Supervisor also provides culturally responsive supervision to all Intensive Case Management (ICM) and Youth Diversion Case Management (YDCM) staff on their team, in order to ensure high quality service delivery. The primary objectives of the ICM and YDCM program includes prevent entry/re-entry into the juvenile justice system, linkage to community resources, stabilization services and increased functionality in community settings.

Responsibilities

  • Leverages the full potential of a diverse array of supervisees by providing culturally-responsive weekly supervision to all assigned Wrap staff that notices and accounts for cultural differences between the supervisor, supervisee, and client (with the Clinical Supervisor if necessary, for hours accrual).
  • Understand and train to the Wraparound model and Family Finding Interventions
  • Cultivate and maintain strong partnerships with Child Welfare and County Behavioral Health partners.
  • Manage all new referrals in accordance with the program policies and procedures.
  • Guides culturally-specific services for clients and families, developing conceptual frameworks that take into account client and family’s cultural location (race, ethnicity, nationality, class, education, gender, sexual orientation, etc.) and adapts practices accordingly.
  • Review and approve documentation of supervisees ensuring high quality documentation, timeliness and compliance with Medi-Cal standards.
  • Develop and maintain healthy team climate and culture aligned with Seneca mission and values.
  • Participate in weekly supervision with the Assistant Director, weekly manager’s meetings, and additional regional/agency leadership meetings as necessary.
  • Participate fully in site-wide initiatives, projects, and plans.


Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Social Work/Psychology/Counseling
  • Licensed with the California BBS preferred
  • At least three years’ experience in working with children and families in mental health settings preferred
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Bilingual Spanish/English abilities a plus
  • Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team with a diverse population of clients
  • Own vehicle, California driver’s license and auto insurance
  • TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination


Schedule

  • Full-time
  • Flexible schedule with ability to work some evenings and weekends or provide on-call coverage as needed
