Data Scientist
REQUIRED SKILLS:-
- Bachelors in Applied Statistics, Analytics, Economics, Data Science or other relevant field
- Applicant must have experience coding Python, R, or similar language.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure Cloud
- Process, clean, and verify the integrity of raw data.
- Strong applied statistic skills such as an understanding of probability distributions, statistical inference, and experimental design.
- Work through the development of algorithms for complex systems for the purposes of understanding, prediction, and optimization.
- Knowledge in mathematical optimization (Simulated Annealing, Genetic Algorithms) and Machine Learning. (Tree-based algorithms, Neural Networks, feature Selection Algorithms) preferred.
PREFERRED SKILLS:-
- Experience with modeling techniques for complex systems and machine learning
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure Cloud, Snowflake, and/or AWS
- Familiarity with database query language such as SQL
