Associate Equity Research Analyst

Associate Equity Research Analyst – Long/Short Equity Fund

Invenomic Capital Management LP (Invenomic), a Boston based long/short equity manager, is seeking an Associate Research Analyst to join their growing team. This role will contribute to all aspects of the research process and will include financial modeling, fundamental analysis, and quantitative programming. Qualified candidates will be enthusiastic and maintain a desire to learn and grow within the role and live in Boston.

Both 2022 and recent graduates with 1-2 years of experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:
•Conduct fundamental due diligence and analysis on companies across multiple industries
•Build quantitative tools to assist in portfolio construction and potential investment screening
•Proactively contribute to the continual improvement of the research process
•Various ad hoc projects

Minimum Requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university
•Passion for investing
•Strong mathematical and analytical skills with a preference for coursework in finance, accounting, statistics, data analytics, and computer science
•Evidence of strong standardized test scores

Desired Qualities and Competencies:
•Accounting or Finance major
•Interest in or current pursuit of the CFA charter
•Experience with Python, R, VBA and/or auditing public companies a plus
•Self-motivated with an ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment and with minimal supervision
