Revenue & Billing Specialist

 StoneTurn is seeking a Revenue & Billing Specialist to join our Finance & Accounting team!

This role requires you to demonstrate business professionalism, the ability to multi-task and work in a high growth environment. You will add value to our team by having strong analytical skills, great attention to detail and excellent prioritization skills. This role will interact closely with all internal levels of the firm including owners and senior management, as well as external parties including clients, banking relationships, and vendor contacts. Critical success factors include strong communication skills, judgment and diplomacy when executing Partner requests and when interacting with team members and senior management.
 Major Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate understanding of revenue recognition principles and take ownership of the revenue recognition process which includes time and materials, fixed fee, contingent fee arrangements
  • Own the current client invoicing process including invoicing, A/R collections, and A/R reserves/write-offs
  • Utilize ERP (Deltek Vision) to assist Partners to identify outstanding WIP and aged A/R
  • Communicate and reconcile client deposits received and apply towards client A/R.
  • Own the A/P process as it relates to client-related reimbursable expenses
  • Responsible for Timesheet and Expense report collection, review and posting
  • Assist with weekly A/R cash reconciliation
  • Develop work plans and coordinate the successful completion of routine, ad hoc, analyses and projects under supervision
  • Suggest and implement changes to enhance the current process and procedures
  • Perform additional routine operational administrative duties as needed to support the Finance & Accounting team as well as other operational departments
Qualifications / Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or economics
  • General business and database experience in corporate billing/accounting desirable
  • Strong analytical, technical, and interpersonal skills
  • Robust written and communication skills required
  • Proven ability to work with and safeguard highly confidential information
  • Ability to work in a team setting as well as independently,
  • Demonstrate taking initiative, and prioritizing work with competing deadlines.
  • Deltek Vision experience a plus
