Your role at BHSN:
 
As a Telehealth Clinician at BHSN, you will play an integral part in bringing about positive change in our community. Our Telehealth Clinicians provide comprehensive mental health care, including intake and assessments, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and providing individual and group therapy.


What your day might look like:

·        Providing brief cognitive behavior therapy, psychoeducation, skills training and care management in an individual/group/family setting to recipients
·        Developing treatment/safety plans based on assessment of need
·        Conducting comprehensive assessments through the observation and evaluation of mental, physical and behavioral condition and history


Your skills and qualifications:

·        Masters, Mental Health Counseling or Masters, Social Work
·        Must have NYS LMHC-P, LMHC, LMSW, LCSW, or LCSW-R licensure
·        Experience providing direct clinical service to the population served by the assigned clinical program is strongly preferred.
·       Staff must provide and maintain their own secured computer hardware and high-speed internet connection. Alternatively, if computer equipment is provided by BHSN, the equipment is subject to the terms of the BHSN Equipment Lease Agreement
·        Knowledge of substance abuse issues including features of alcohol and various drug abuse signs and symptoms, intervention strategies, awareness of associated medical concerns.
·        Individual, family, and group therapy skills. 
·        Broad clinical knowledge of psychiatric disorders, and psychiatric diagnosis. 
·        Ability to conduct clinical interviews and assess mental status. 
·        Extensive knowledge with PC applications and electronic medical records strongly preferred.
·        Valid NYS driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required for travel to program locations or agency events.
