Data Scientist
Responsibilities:
- Will work on customer-facing use cases, such as anomaly detection, social engineering fraud prevention
- Build comprehensive summary presentations to executive and technical teams
- Turn statistical information into meaningful, actionable insights
- Proven ability to build a data science pipeline
- Leveraging advanced statistical techniques and machine learning models, including supervised and unsupervised learning
- Successful ability to apply data science to business problems, scientific research, marketing and other fields
Skills
- Well versed in Cloud technologies and Big Data platform.
- Expertise in working with very large datasets
- Strong skills in predictive, prescriptive, descriptive and cognitive analytics
- Proficiency using query languages such as SQL, Pig, Hive –Experience using cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud Platform or Azure) for data analysis and modeling
- Proficiency in R and/or Python
- Strong knowledge of AI and Machine Learning
- Understanding of one or more of the following areas: advanced statistical data analysis, machine learning techniques, Bayesian methods, MCMC, neural networks, Ensemble methods, Gaussian processes and related topics
