GRAMMAR launched in December 2017 with a collection of five perfect white shirts. A crisp white shirt is a powerful, iconic wardrobe staple and a necessity in any wardrobe. GRAMMAR shirts are made in NYC’s Garment District from 100% organic cotton sourced from an ethical producer in India. Each style is designed with an appreciation for a woman’s form and the functionality required of a garment for her everyday life. The resulting pieces are timeless and always appropriate so the wearer can pursue her life with ease and purpose.
Job Description: We are a digitally-native brand – we need more digitally-native gray matter behind the scenes.
Are you someone with a passion for human behavior and communications? Do you have new and exciting ideas for marketing campaigns? Are you up to date with publications and influencers? Can you navigate the ins and outs of social media platforms? Are you excited by a good spreadsheet? We want you. You will work directly with the founder to develop and execute marketing initiatives and grow the brand's following.
GRAMMAR is a small company, which means you’ll be doing and learning a lot during your internship. You will be asked to perform a variety of tasks beyond the work listed below, depending on what is needed. We promise you will never be getting coffee! There is always real, meaningful, impactful work to be done. We also allow you to craft your experience: in addition to specific directives, you are able to explore your own interests and project ideas.
This internship is unpaid and offers college credit if applicable. If in person we will reimburse for travel and lunches.
Work will include:
Research
- Industry best practices
- Competitive analysis
- New strategies and tactics in digital marketing, content and PR
- Various other research as needed
Digital marketing
- Creating campaign strategies and suggestions for digital marketing campaigns for different platforms to reach our audiences
- Working with Shopify, email marketing, and affiliate marketing
Content strategy and creation
- Brainstorming and developing marketing campaigns
- Writing blog posts
- Creating social media content
Social media:
- Plan social media campaigns
- Manage social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and TikTok and monitor results
- Develop insights based on analytics to come up with strategies and ideas to grow to grow GRAMMAR’s online presence
Press
- Reaching out to editors, publications, and potential influencer partners
- Creating press releases and assisting with PR strategy that communicates the brand identity
- Managing press calendar, website press page, press clippings, and PR samples

Digital Marketing Internship Qualifications:
Marketing, design, and/or fashion experience
Knowledge of Microsoft, Google, and Adobe programs
Experience with Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and TikTok
Familiarity with Shopify, Klaviyo, a plus
Experience with affiliate marketing a plus
