Senior Analyst, Technology Sourcing – Talent Acquisition

SENIOR ANALYST, TECHNOLOGY SOURCING, GLOBAL TALENT ACQUISITION

The Senior Analyst, Technology Sourcing, Global Talent Acquisition will be responsible for executing external technology candidate pipeline sourcing for Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE) across all of our technology job families.

Reporting to the Manager, Global Talent Acquisition who supports SPE’s technology job family, the successful incumbent will help deliver strategies to ensure a proactive external mapping of a diverse range of passive candidates that align to SPE’s cultural and business objectives. In addition, the Sr. Technology Sourcing Analyst, Global Talent Acquisition will partner with the Global Talent Acquisition team and People & Organization (P&O) Business Partner teams by providing internal and external market analysis to ensure SPE’s open technology roles are aligned to current market demands and industry competitors.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

SOURCING

  • Develop an external candidate mapping of diverse top passive technology candidates across SPE’s Motion Pictures, Television and Corporate functions for mission-critical and high impact technology roles
  • Execute under the direction of the Manager, Global Talent Acquisition a talent branding strategy that will attract external passive candidates that align to SPE’s cultural and business objectives
  • Execute under the direction of the Manager, Global Talent Acquisition an external talent strategy that ensures continuous SPE engagement with a diverse range of passive candidates
  • Ensure internal high-potential employees are visibly mapped for internal mobility opportunities
  • Create candidate funnels for Technology positions that are challenging to fill
  • Leverage social media to look for and connect with potential candidates
  • Interact with technology professionals on platforms such as Github and Behance
  • Craft and send personalized recruiting emails with current job openings to passive candidates
  • Participate in meetings to determine vacant tech-related positions and the preferred attributes for potential hires
  • Keep up-to-date with new technological trends and products
  • Actively work toward building a diverse and qualified technology team to support the organization

MARKET ANALYSIS

  • Develop a global talent landscape dashboard across SPE’s Motion Pictures, Television and Corporate functions
  • Identify current technology candidate landscape across global regions that will help position SPE’s open roles as competitive with the media / entertainment industry market
  • Develop an external candidate analysis of role life spans that develops retention strategy with Business Leaders and People & Organization Business Partners
  • Provide labor market analysis to P&O leaders of SPE’s current technology talent in-flows and out-flows

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BA / BS degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • A passion and curiosity about all things technology-related
  • 3+ years’ experience in an Analytical Research, Sourcing or Program Development role within a Human Resources function
  • A good working knowledge of technology, technical roles, and technical skills, as well as knowledge of the recruitment process
  • Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques (e.g., social media recruiting and Boolean search)
  • Excellent time-management skills with the ability to handle various open positions simultaneously
  • Familiarity with social networks, professional sites and resume databases
  • Experience in the continuous development of talent pipelines and sourcing potential candidates
  • Experience utilizing a metrics-driven approach to recruiting
  • Strong technical skills and presentation skills
  • Comfort with communicating/engaging with a wide range of diverse candidates at various levels
