Data Analyst
Qi Venture is currently recruiting for a Data Analyst who, while working under the parent company of Qi, would specifically operate within one of Qi’s subsidiaries. This sub is a market leader in a niche legal services space and specializes in partnering with global corporations to educate and monetize their claims in legal settlements.
As the Data Analyst, you will be responsible for managing, analyzing, and reporting on a wide array of datasets provided either by clients or aggregated by the research team. The data analyst will work closely with our DBA firm to architect and build the growing database environment, and utilize analytic tools to store and visualize data, answer business questions, present to management on data patterns and trends, and report to highly valued clients.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze, sort, and filter data based off parameters assigned by management
- Conduct and communicate a thorough analysis of large data sets
- Cleaning and normalizing data within excel
- Executing queries and formatting data within SQL Database
- Ensuring the quality and accuracy of data
- Transforming business information into data models
- Structure complex data sets to find usable information and reach a conclusion
- Effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data
- Create informative, actionable, and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of relevant professional work experience.
- Bachelor’s degree from a top university
- Highly proficient with Excel
- Experience working with SQL database
- Ability to communicate key ideas clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
