Position Summary:
SiriusXM + Pandora is looking for an intern to work cross-functionally to provide podcast marketing and partnerships support.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Generate presentations for new podcast marketing opportunities.
- Assist with short-term and long-term campaigns/initiatives.
- Help manage the flow of podcast marketing assets with internal/external partners.
- Analyze channel/show data to help podcast marketing make strategic decisions.
- Meet with various departments to better understand how they work and their relation to one another and the overall company.
- Help manage and gather cross-promotion information for podcast marketing campaigns.
- Join calls and meetings with internal/external partners around key campaigns/initiatives.
- Brainstorm creative marketing ideas in daily interactions and weekly meetings.
- Develop and manage a document containing high-priority podcast marketing initiatives throughout the year to help the team develop marketing packages around these priorities.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None.
Minimum Qualifications:
- You must be 18 years of age or older.
- Internships are open to current students enrolled at a university and recent graduates who graduated within the 12-month period prior to the start of the internship.
- Marketing, advertising, media or communications majors preferred.
Requirements and General Skills:
- Good project management and planning skills.
- Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Attention to detail skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects.
- Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
Technical Skills:
- Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access). PowerPoint is a must.
