Talent Acquisition Coordinator

REPORTS TO: Manager, Talent Acquisition        
SUPERVISION EXERCISED: None
LOCATION: New York, NY (CSC) or Philadelphia, PA preferred
Grade/Class: Grade C, non-exempt, Non-Union

PRIMARY FUNCTION:
 
To provide a broad range of administrative support to the Talent Acquisition function, including assistance with recruiting, background checks, and onboarding. As part of this role, the Talent Acquisition Coordinator will collaborate with other members of Talent & Knowledge (T&K).

Responsibilities

Primary:
  • Along with the Manager, Talent Acquisition, ensure successful recruitment, evaluation, and selection of candidates across diverse geographical locations and lines of business
  • Help develop/improve recruiting-related processes.
  • Refine and maintain our applicant tracking system - including process flow, applicant status, and active / non-active database
  • Use of social media tools and job boards to source and reach viable talent
  • Ensure effective and legally compliant hiring processes.
  • Train hiring managers on talent acquisition process and ATS usage

Skills/Attributes:

Work Experience:
  • Previous experience within talent acquisition, customer service, retail, or hospitality with demonstrable record of progression of responsibilities
  • Experience in a distributed organization a plus
  • Experience with ATS and HRIS preferred
 
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
 
Work Environment:
  • ADL COVID-19 Protocol (updated periodically): ADL is adhering to CDC, State, local, and Federal orders regarding COVID-19. ADL requires that all employees are vaccinated with exceptions for medical and religious accommodations. ADL may require proof of vaccination. This role will start as a remote position but may transition to a hybrid environment when offices reopen. 
 
Compensation: 
  • This position is a Grade C1, which has a salary midrange of $56,000 to $68,000. This salary midrange is reflective of a position based in New York, New York. Please note that actual salaries are commensurate with experience and reflect the budget for a given position, and since ADL has a location-based compensation structure, there may be a different range for candidates in other locations.
