F220023 - Clinical Assistant Professor, Composition - English
Position Summary:
The Department of English at The University at Buffalo, SUNY is seeking applications for 2 Clinical Assistant Professor positions, to teach first-year composition as well as upper-level writing classes.
The positions are primarily teaching positions, with a 4-4 load. These are full-time, non-tenure-track faculty positions with an academic-year (10-month) obligation. The initial appointment is a three-year contract with possibility of future renewal, contingent upon performance, department need, and availability of program funding.
Applications will be reviewed beginning March 15, 2022, and applications received after March 15, 2022 will be considered until the position is filled.

Minimum Qualifications:
Terminal degree (ex., MFA or PhD) in English, Rhetoric and Composition, or other related field. Experience teaching first year composition and second-level writing courses (Writing Across the Curriculum or Writing in the Disciplines courses).
