The Research Administrator provides research administrative support and financial management for the Division of Pediatrics. The incumbent coordinates and manages all grant submissions, grant disbursements and grant budgets. The individual will be responsible for ordering research supplies through Lawson system while managing appropriate budgetary accounts. Identifies and shares potential grant opportunities for research faculty. Assists with research integration with the Department of Obstetrics, maintains and update
Bachelor’s degree with three years’ experience in program coordination, preferably in an academic/medical research environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Working knowledge of grant administration, experience in budget management, and familiarity with various accounting spreadsheet programs required. Must possess excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
