Qualifications:
We are seeking enrolled self-motivated, self-reliant, passion-driven undergraduate and graduate college students in the field of human resources, business management, public relations, marketing, and journalism to assist us on our #100JOBS campaign of helping disabled, homeless, disenfranchised clients. The person in this position must have the drive to network and be the go-between for job seekers and companies. The intern will assist the Job Recruitment team with completing daily tasks and assignments under the supervision of the campaign lead. This is a non-paid internship but has an opportunity for career advancement.
 
The internship will provide an educational experience designed to assist the students in applying the knowledge, skills, values, and ethics of the profession of Human Services and Recruitment in a field setting. Its purpose is to create an atmosphere in which the student is free to explore and learn while focusing on skill development, time management, and practicing methods and models required to perform specific assignments.
 
Daily Responsibilities:
·        Network with employee-partners and organizations to foster and develop new opportunities for job placement.
·        Provide follow-up on client’s job search with employee-partners and client with the use of job tracking form.
·        Establish or maintain cooperative relationships with representatives of the business community.
·        Deliver media kits to develop strategies to raise public awareness of the campaign
·        Schedule and host "Lunch and Learn" with new and existing stakeholders.
·        Communicate company-wide using internal messaging and email systems (RingCentral)
·        Follow-up and engage with Job Apps, Social Media teams, and HR regarding job placements and implementing job strategies within the campaign.
 
Skills:
·      Qualified candidates must be a self-starter, extrovert that loves public speaking and networking.
·      A community event planner and advocate at heart with impeccable execution ability.
·      Computer and technology savvy.
·      Organized, proactive, and flexible
·      Detailed-oriented, and interested in the non-profit and human services fields.
