Lead Teacher, Early Learning Center

We are looking for qualified, caring Lead Teachers for our large, non-profit, NAEYC Accredited Early Learning Center.

We are looking for Lead Teachers who want to be a part of our vibrant learning community where joy, creativity, and meaningful relationships flourish. Qualifications we look for in our Lead Teachers include:
  • EEC Lead Teacher certification
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or in a related field, a plus (Experience may replace degree)
  • Have experience working in the Early Education field as a Lead Teacher or a similar role in an educational environment that is inquiry and play based, emergent, challenging, warm, and inviting
  • Completed the COVID-19 vaccination process or have an approved exemption
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and Outlook
  • Effective and inclusive communicator and facilitator
  • Value diversity and are joyful, curious, and respectful of differences in individuals, families, staff, and cultures
  • Have the ability to bend, stand, squat, stoop, walk, occasionally run, and lift up to 35 pounds

Family ACCESS is committed to supporting the emotional wellness of our children and families. We provide Touchpoints training for all staff. In addition to ongoing training and mentoring, each classroom team has an onsite mental health consultant who meets weekly with teachers to support reflective practice and provide resources for children and families.
