Position:             Email Marketing Assistant

Supervisor:        Director, Out of the Darkness Walks & Charity Streaming

 

AFSP is looking to add two (2) Email Marketing Assistants who will work with the Director, Out of the Darkness Walks & Charity Streaming to take the lead and run AFSP’s chapter event email marketing campaigns and strategies.

Responsibilities:

·        Run multiple email marketing campaigns end-to-end

·        Identify target audience and grow open rates

·        Design and implement direct email marketing campaigns

·        Proofread emails for clarity, grammar, and spelling

·        Ensure marketing message is conveyed clearly and delivered properly to prospects

·        Communicate with multiple staff across the country

·        Analyze campaign performance and suggest improvements

·        Ensure emails follow branding, industry policies, and best practices

Qualifications:

·        Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience working in a national nonprofit organization

·        Experience working with different Email marketing platform(s)

·        Hands on experience with HTML and content management systems

·        Familiarity with analytical and database tools

·        Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

·        Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively

·        Strong problem-solving skills

·        Strong project management skills; must be able to work with tight deadlines

·        Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment with strict attention to detail

·        Excellent customer service skills and comfort interacting with multiple staff members via phone and email.

·        Ability to learn or knowledge of communication platforms such as Teams, Monday.com, Wrike, etc.

·        Experience with Klaviyo a plus; xxperience with SMS a plus

 

Annual salary range: 34,500-37,000

22 PTO (vacation, sick, wellness and personal days) your first year of employment (5 additional days 2nd year)
