Engineer
PBM - Princeton BioMeditech Corporation seeks a qualified and motivated Engineer with solid electrical and/or mechanical engineering education/skills for a full-time position in manufacturing and R&D of in vitro diagnostic test devices.
About This Role:
At PBM, you will join our Systems Engineering team that develops, implements and supports advanced analyzer instruments and the systems necessary to produce high quality, advanced, rapid diagnostic devices. As an integral part of the team, your responsibilities may include:
- Install, maintain and calibrate equipment
- Develop, troubleshoot and update software including algorithms and GUI design
- Develop, troubleshoot and repair hardware circuits and components
- Record, compile and analyze data; write organized reports and summaries
- Report results to others
- Interface with scientific, quality and production staff
- Comply with and implement Company quality systems requirements
- Perform other assignments as directed
Working with your Systems Engineering team members, you will practice the critical thinking and communication skills to collaborate and work effectively. The successful Engineer will:
- Possess strong aptitude for solving hardware and software problems
- Communicate and work effectively with others
- Prioritize multiple tasks and manage time
- Be adaptable, creative and constructive to analyze and solve problems
- Demonstrate reasonable independence in planning and performance of tasks
Skills and experience in SolidWorks or 3D modeling and in programming C++ and Python would be very helpful.
