Bought Media Associate

LVHN is seeking a Bought Media Associate, a position that is contracted for about 20 to 30 hours per week. This person will support the bought media team and work with various internal and external team members to ensure paid media programs are developed, executed, optimized and analyzed. The ideal candidate should be passionate about marketing & advertising, and have experience and/or familiarity working across multiple online and offline advertising channels (paid social, digital display/sponsored content, print, outdoor, broadcast, video, audio, non-traditional/grassroots). This position requires impeccable attention to detail, strong project management skills and excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Candidates should be adaptable to working independently or in a team structure. Recent graduates with internship experience or 1-year of professional experience are preferred.
 
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist team in the development and execution of bought media campaigns (partnering with bought media team, marketing managers, media agencies and traffic team). Bought media channels of focus will primarily include (but are not limited to) print, digital display, digital sponsored content, out-of-home, video, radio, paid social and non-traditional.
  • Keep a pulse on campaign timelines from initial briefing until launch, and assist in the organization/structure of the different steps. Assume a key role in the steps that take place between the time a plan is approved and when it launches; particularly as it relates to allocating creative and having assets built. This includes:
  • Ensuring that creative designations are appropriately allocated in the spec sheet, working with marketing managers to fill in any missing information.
  • Liaising with traffic team and any other necessary stakeholders to make sure that assets are developed on time to meet deadlines.
  • Research and draft plans for nontraditional marketing tactics (guerilla, “surprise-and-delight”) to create further engagement with the LVHN brand.
  • Help evaluate vendor sponsorships as needed.
  • Work closely with media agency and LVHN marketing billing contact to reconcile invoicing and ensure payments are made in a timely manner.
  • Working with various marketing stakeholders, launch, manage and optimize paid social campaigns (separate from agency managed initiatives).
  • Provide post campaign summary/analysis and insights for LVHN managed paid social campaigns.
  • Create tags for tracking purposes (paid social, digital display and sponsored content).
  • Explore and suggest improvements and/or changes for process improvement.
  • Take on special projects / research when needed.
 
 
EXPERIENCE / POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • Strong passion for marketing and advertising.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to stay on / keep others on task.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and produce excellent work under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to change.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of paid media / advertising planning with offline and online channels.
  • Well versed in the use of various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc).
  • Ability to write copy for paid social media, a plus.
  • Creative thinking to assist in increasing engagement with paid social ads.
  • Ability to recommend and implement innovative online tools to help streamline efficiencies.
