Who we’re looking for
Minted is seeking an Intern to join our world-class Brand Communications team. The Intern is responsible for providing administrative and logistical support to Minted’s media relations activities. This role is ideal for a business student or recent graduate who is interested in building a career in marketing or communications. The successful candidate will have exceptional organization and data management skills, strong written and verbal communication, enthusiasm for detail, impeccable follow-through, and basic knowledge of marketing strategies and tactics. 

Who you’ll work with
This position reports to the Brand Communications Specialist and works closely with the Brand Communications team, as well as cross-functionally with the Affiliate, Growth Marketing, Social and Brand Marketing Teams. 

What you’ll work on:
  • Track press coverage including magazine, newspaper, TV, online and social media, placements. Input all data metrics, including impressions, share of voice, etc., into press coverage reports that are shared with the company
  • Maintain media database with current contact information for all press and influencer contacts
  • Research new media and influencer contacts 
  • Personalize, order and track product samples
  • Execute creative mail deliveries for press and influencers
  • Submit team invoices to accounting and help maintain budget
  • Assist with communications campaign and events planning and execution
  • Provide administrative support across the team

What you bring to Minted:
  • Bachelor’s degree - Business or Marketing major preferred, but not required
  • Obsessive attention to and enthusiasm for detail
  • Extremely efficient and organized self-starter with strong time management skills 
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Excited to work in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment 
  • Passion for art, design, weddings and celebrations, and creative pursuits; finger on the pulse of emerging lifestyle and design trends
  • Extremely proficient in Excel; Experience with emerging social media platforms and relevant tools including AspireIq, Cision and Dash Hudson a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business or a related field.
