Specialist, Payroll Data Analytics

Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, one of the world’s leading global law firms with more than 4,000 lawyers and staff in 30 offices, is seeking to hire a Specialist, Payroll Data Analytics resident in our Philadelphia, PA office. Reporting to the Supervisor, Payroll Data Analytics this position will perform payroll analysis and reporting under minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform payroll data analysis and reporting, including ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of scheduled and ad-hoc requests for payroll data
  • Assist with analysis of payroll data, monitor variances and create detailed financial reports in effective and clear formats for use by Payroll, Financial Services and Firm Management to support internal business processes and tax filings.
  • Understand and stay current with ADP payroll system functionality and how it interacts with other firm systems.
  • Ability to work with Human Resources, Benefits and Financial Services departments and external vendors (WageWorks, United Way, Benefit Focus, etc.) to ensure that payroll system data is accurate. 
  • Assist Supervisor with special projects and ensures the integrity of the data in the payroll system is maintained.
  • Serves as back-up and support to other payroll staff.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Experience/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from four-year college or university, in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in ADP Workforce Now, Workday and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Planning, organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information and adapt to change and balance competing demands.
  • A self-starter and ability to work within a team is a must.
