Lead Toddler Teacher

Family Centers’ Early Care and Education program seeks a highly qualified, passionate, professional toddler educator to join our early childhood education team. 
Overview:
Our programs provide full-day/full-year care and offer the highest quality education and development opportunities for young children ages six weeks to five years at four sites in Greenwich, CT. Each school is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) which is widely recognized as a distinction of the highest quality in early care and education programs.

We accept each child as a unique and valuable individual and group member, honoring and respecting family language and cultures. Our curriculum, goals, and objectives guide our staff’s ongoing assessment of children’s progress, while facilitating each child’s individual growth and language acquisition and cognitive, social-emotional, physical, and creative domains.


Teachers are responsible for monitoring and assessing the educational and social development of each child, planning, and implementing lesson plans, providing effective and supportive classroom management, and other duties as assigned.

Requirements: 
  • Minimum Associates degree in Early Childhood Education (or relevant)
  • Experience working with children
  • Enthusiasm for learning and a passion for education
 
Preferred: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (or relevant) 
  • At least 12 ECE credits 
  • Head Teacher Certificate
