Earth Science Teacher
Portland High School is seeking a highly qualified, enthusiastic individual with Physical Science certification to fill a 9th grade Earth Science position. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong knowledge of Earth Science, a genuine interest in working with a diverse student population, and a desire to collaborate as part of a freshman team. Willingness to teach a section of Freshman Seminar, a year long class that focuses on helping students build academic and social skills is also required . Candidates should have experience in authentic and inquiry-based lesson planning and must be motivated to personalize learning for all students.
