Editorial Internship (Fall 2022)

Love writing and editing? Want to learn the ins and outs of magazine production? Have a strong interest in Jewish politics, culture and religion?

Moment offers interns the opportunity to become a valuable part of our magazine. Throughout the semester, interns are able to learn a lot about how magazine production works: They conduct research, help with copyediting and fact-checking, assist with web production and social media, and pitch and write stories for our website. Administrative duties are also part of the internship; all interns may also provide assistance to all departments. Moment‘s office is in Washington, DC, but remote applicants are more than welcome.

What kinds of stories do our interns cover? Check out a few pieces from past intern cohorts:

Moment Magazine covers Jewish news, culture and ideas. Founded in 1975 by Elie Wiesel and Leonard Fein, Moment offers a critical space for thoughtful conversations, fresh ideas and diverse points of view. We are fiercely independent.
