2023 - Summer Associate Internship - Global Markets: Quantitative Finance

BUSINESS OVERVIEW:

Our Global Markets Americas (GMA) team works with a variety of clients, including governments, multinationals, private banks and global institutions. From hedging and financing opportunities across every asset class, to research and market intelligence, our clients rely on us to develop and deliver market-leading solutions and impeccable service as standard.

Our transversal Quantitative Finance team is responsible for most aspects of quantitative research within the Global Market universe, covering Interest Rates, FX, Credit, Equity, and more. There are teams in London, New York and Asia supporting trading activities of the flow and structured desks. They are responsible for the development of pricing and risk models and their implementation in the global analytics library.

The Quantitative Finance Internship Program is rotational – you’ll gain in-depth insights and practical working experience by spending each half of your internship with two different global business lines (GBLs).

The GBLs includes Global Credit, Global Equities, Global Macro - Equity Derivatives (EQD), Foreign Exchange, Local Markets, & Commodity Derivatives (FXLM.COMM), G10 Rates, Markets 360 (Research & Strategy), Primary Credit Markets (PCM), and Prime Solutions & Financing (PS&F).

As an Intern, you will:

  • Engage in an initial induction training that will set you up to succeed, and allow you to network with your intern class across all business divisions
  • Complete technical projects and collaborate with colleagues across the Bank, gaining exposure to real work in order to identify your skills and explore where your interests align
  • Participate in weekly senior speaker events and roundtable discussions to gain a comprehensive understanding of financial markets and the industry
  • Network with colleagues and learn about industry topics through workshops and speaker series, as well as through philanthropy and social events

COMPENSATION:
The annualized base salary for this position in New York, NY is $150,000.
