Position Summary:
Working as a Research Associate is a fantastic opportunity to apply your skills/knowledge hands-on in a collaborative lab environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for participating and supporting the development of Bio-Techne’s various reagents and products
- Set up and conduct experiments that will help further new product development
- Follow standard operating procedures to manufacture these products and contribute to the ongoing development of new and existing products to help advance Bio-Techne’s evolving portfolio
- Document results and prepare reports summarizing your data
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Requires an Associate degree with 3-5 years of relevant laboratory experience; OR, a Bachelor’s degree in a related science field and up to 3 years of experience.
- Laboratory experience can be from industry or academic settings and/or can be part of a school research project or similar.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is required
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment where multitasking is required.
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Must work well both independently and in a team environment.
