Hudson Valley Regional Community Health Centers (HVRCHC), located in Brewster, NY, seeks a full time Chief Financial Officer. Requires Masters degree in business, accounting or finance plus five years of professional experience in a financial capacity (non-profit preferred) or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of reimbursement methodologies for programs funded by: DOH, Clinic and Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) reimbursement and SE. Major duties include:
Planning, controlling and directing the finance department operations including purchasing, accounts payable, accounts receivable and budgetary and financial reporting;
Overseeing the billing and collection department;
Developing reimbursement rates for HVRCHC through costs data analysis, review of Federal/State regulations and other appropriate metrics and participating in the development and preparation of rate appeals;
Submitting the annual Consolidated Fiscal Report to the Department of Health, as well as clinical reports, and all other grants and cost report filing to ensure completeness, accuracy and reasonableness;
Preparing and presenting financial statements and reports for review by the CEO, Board of Directors and Board Finance Committee;
Reviewing monthly and annual budgets and advising administrators accordingly;
Interviewing, hiring, evaluating, supervising and disciplining staff in the Finance Department;
Coordinating necessary actions with outside accounting firms for annual audits, ensuring account records are in compliance with GAAP and all relevant government regulations; and
Providing assistance to the CEO as requested to execute special projects
