Business Analytics Associate

Strategic Planning Responsibilities:

  • Conduct financial and strategic analysis in order to develop fact-based insights and recommendations for the Global Institutional distribution strategy based on both internal and external industry data
  • Conduct industry research on fee projects and gather competitive benchmarking data
  • Assist with client coverage flows and run rate revenue budgeting, forecasting, and year-end planning processes

Business Management Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely, high-quality reporting / dynamic dashboards for the Global Institutional client coverage team
  • Provide routine global sales reporting and ad hoc analysis focused on client coverage platform
  • Liaise directly with Client Advisors and Client Associates to stay informed on new business pipeline and activity
  • Maintain internal client fee database and execute related fee monitoring processes
  • Help prepare presentation for internal meetings, business reviews, townhalls, etc.
  • Provide client platform statistics for corporate reports and presentations
  • Liaise with Finance to ensure accurate sales attribution is captured for firm reporting
  • Focus on enhancing, streamlining, and automating processes and achieve efficiencies

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance or related field of study
  • 3-4 years’ demonstrable experience in the asset management industry or demonstrable experience in management consulting
  • Strong analytical and technical skills; advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint knowledge is required; experience with Alteryx, Tableau, Salesforce.com or comparable tools preferred
  • Team player with strong work ethic and positive attitude; team management experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate critical thinking
  • Attention to detail and business acumen essential
  • Excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
