The Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH), Office of Statistics and Evaluation (OSE), is seeking a dedicated and experienced Epidemiologist with a passion for advancing public health and improving the lives of individuals across the Commonwealth. The incumbent will support analytic and evaluation efforts for the CCIS. This vital position works closely with the CCIS team conducting data analysis, interpretation, and reporting.
Our ideal candidate is:
- passionate about and familiar with the social determinants of health and their measurement;
- has at least 5 years of experience in epidemiology; and
- a deep understanding of research and evaluation methods that assess policy, systems, and environmental changes through a variety of quantitative and qualitative research methods; and
- an excellent collaborator, partnering and coordinating with community partners as well as other epidemiologists
